 Sihan WEI (KElina)

I am a junior Illustration student at the Maryland Institute College of Art, aspiring to become a freelance illustrator and eventually establish my own studio. My work is rooted in nature-inspired themes, exploring animals, landscapes, and organic environments to create quiet, emotional narratives.

I work across both traditional and digital media. Using colored pencil, graphite, and technical pen, I focus on texture and detail, while my digital work emphasizes expressive line and natural color as an extension of my drawing practice.

My process begins with observation and sketching, followed by careful development of form and atmosphere. I aim to create calm, immersive, and story-driven imagery, while continuing to develop a consistent visual voice and a sustainable creative practice.
